Art of Bronze was honored to work with the Payne family with the custom bronze statue baseball memorial honoring Roger Blake Payne. Baseball held a special and significant place in Blake’s life. His deep love for the game was a defining aspect of his personal journey.
Art of Bronze created custom engravings on the baseball statue that held significant meaning for the Blake family. The inclusion of Blake’s initials “RBP” on the baseball cap, along with his number “#23” and last name on the back of the jersey, added a deeply personal touch to the artwork.
Roger Blake Payne, 19, of Newnan, died December 3, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 6, 1996. He graduated from Newnan High School in 2014, where he was on the Newnan Baseball team. He was a student at Kennesaw State University.
Blake had a wit about him that would bring excitement to any room. He had a giving heart and loved everyone he met. His smile was contagious and will be remembered by his family and friends.
