Art of Bronze is pleased to present this classic bronze statue of a swashbuckling pirate after Eutrope Bouret (France, 1833-1906) from a private Brentwood, CA estate. The sculpture is depicting a standing pirate holding his sword in his right hand and pistol next to his left hand. This sculpture has marvelous detailing throughout the elaborate torn clothing design and accoutrements. Notable is the treasure chest under his right foot. The owner was a passionate collector of many different styles of bronze sculpture artwork. This casting was produced from a high-quality mold creating incredible detailing and accuracy to the original. This sculpture is mounted on a green marble base with brass plaque. The sculpture is in excellent condition and truly gets better with age.
