Art of Bronze is honored to offer this exclusive bronze statue of the famous Our Lady of Pontmain, also known as Our Lady of Hope. The title is given to the Virgin Mary following her apparition at Pontmain, France on January 17, 1871.  The apparition is said to have occurred at the height of the Franco-Prussian War (also called the War of 1870.)

This bronze statue features Mary looking downward, her face has the most exquisite delicacy and a smile of ineffable sweetness.  She is wearing a blue gown covered with golden stars, and a veil under a crown.  Her hands are clasping a red crucifix with the words “Jesus Christ” above it.

This inspirational work of art is located at the historic San Fernando Mission and Bob Hope Garden.  It is cast in the ‘lost wax’ process and hand finished in a custom patina coloring.  She is suitable in any garden setting, park, church, mission, front or backyard.
