Art of Bronze is offering this magnificent bronze statue of a medieval knight in full armor. The powerful knight stands guard with a longsword in both hands jutted out front letting all visitors know he is the protector of the crown. Incredible detailing and realism are captured throughout the helmet, chest plate, vambraces, chausses and foot armor. The knight comes atop a rectangular bronze base with a garland design detailing on each side.
The main role of the knight was to give protection to the king. Knights were elite soldiers in battles, wars and crusades. They were the most feared and best protected warriors on the medieval battlefield. In peaceful times, knights acted as law enforcement officers of the king and queen.
