Art of Bronze is pleased to offer this elegant Art Deco bronze sculpture of “Diana, The mythological goddess of the hunt.”  Diana is poised and balanced on one foot, gracefully shooting her bow toward the heavens.  Notable features are her short tunic for agility and streamlined angles in her pose.  The use of both realistic details and fluid curving lines creates the feeling of movement.  This version features Diana with only her foot supporting her and no bronze base.  She is custom finished in a gold & silver patina.

Diana (or Artemis, in Greek mythology) was revered as an inaccessible maiden, an avid huntress, and the patroness of wild animals, forests, and hills.
