Art of Bronze is pleased to exclusively offer this laughing Buddha bronze statue custom created for Commerce Casino & Hotel in Commerce City, CA. The sculpture stands over 7 ft. tall with the custom-made black marble base.
In Western culture, the statue of the Laughing Buddha is perhaps the one that is utilized the most frequently and is the one that is most recognized.
It is also referred to as the Buddha of riches, prosperity, and good fortune. This sculpture shows Buddha in his later years smiling broadly and standing with his hands raised above his head, cradling a genuine or fictitious Ru-Yi pot with the support of his arms (vessel or bowl of plenty). All of Buddha’s skin, beads and pot were hand polished to create its golden glow. His robe was finished in a traditional acid patina.
Commerce Casino is the largest cardroom in the world with over 240 tables on site. It was established in 1983. The casino is home to the Los Angeles Poker Classic involving a World Poker Tour event.
