Fallen Soldier Battle Cross*

Item #AF0161

Size: 14 5/8" W. X 47" H.

The Fallen Soldier Battle Cross, Battlefield Cross or Battle Cross is a symbolic replacement of a cross, or marker appropriate to an individual service-member's religion, on the battlefield or at the base camp for a soldier who has been killed. The practice started during or prior to the American Civil War, as a means of identifying the bodies on the battleground before removal. Today, it is a means of showing respect for the dead amongst the still living members of the troop. We spent tremendous time in the detailing of the Kevlar helmet w/ cat eyes. The lacings are left over right. The rife is a M16A4 with Picatinny rail for mounting optics and other ancillary devices. Art of Bronze created and casts this symbol of Sacrifice, Honor & Respect in the United States. A special bronze plaque can be affixed to the bronze base. MADE IN THE USA. This is not an inferior work from out of the country which sells for less than $5,000.
